ATL Movie Story - Synopsis. ATL tells the story of a few teens growing up in Atlanta where music and roller skating rule. Challenges on and off the rink bring about turning points in their lives. The film is based on Dallas Austin's experiences growing up in working class Atlanta and hanging out at a skating rink called Jellybeans. Rashad, 17-year-old, was forced to become the man of the house earlier than most men. Since the death of his parents, he’s responsible for himself and his brother Ant. He does his best to keep Ant in school and out of trouble. It's a difficult task, especially since Ant is under the influence of a drug dealer. Cast: Tip Harris - AKA T.I., Lauren London, Evan Ross, Jackie Long, Antwan Patton - aka Big Boi, Albert Daniels, Jason Weaver, Kadijah, Malika, Lonette McKey, with Mykelti Williamson and Keith David. |
