A pop star from the 80s, Alex Fletcher (Hugh Grant),
is working in the lower regions of the industry nowadays.
When Cora Corman invites him to write and record a duet with her, Alex has a chance to be in the spotlights again.
The only thing is that Alex hasn't written a song in years. In fact he has never written any lyrics, and
he has to come up with a song within a few days.
Sophie Fisher (Drew Barrymore), a girl that works for him and has a flair for words, could be the answer to the
problems of the struggling songwriter. Sophie really wants to collaborate with anyone, after having a bad relationship.
At the piano and under it their chemistry heats up, and will result in a song.
This Romantic-Comedy was released on February 14th, 2007, filmed in New York,
